Constitutional Protection Law and Legal Definition
Constitutional protection refers to those basic protection guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. The protection enshrined in the constitution are part of those protection enshrined in the Bill of Rights. The due process clause, equal protection, and the fundamental protection of the first amendment relating to speech, press and religion are examples of certain protections guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.
