Consultation Law and Legal Definition
The act of seeking counsel or advice from someone (such as a lawyer or a doctor). It can also refer to a meeting in which parties or attorneys consult or confer to discuss about their case. In International law, consultation refers to interactive methods which the states adopt in order to prevent or resolve disputes.
