Contending Site Law and Legal Definition
According to 39 CFR 776.3 (Title 39 - Postal Service; Chapter I - United States Postal Service; Subchapter K - Environmental Regulations; Part 776 - Floodplain And Wetland Procedures; Subpart A - General Provisions), contending site means “a site or existing building for a proposed postal facility action, which meets the requirements of the Postal Service as determined by the operations organization.”
