Contiguous United States Law and Legal Definition
Contiguous United States refers to the 48 adjoining states on the continent of North America that are south of Canada and the District Of Colombia. Contiguous United States does not include Alaska or Hawaii. Contiguous means ‘touching’, and Alaska and Hawaii do not touch the other 48 United States.
