Contractor Team Arrangement Law and Legal Definition
A contractor team arrangement (CTA) is an arrangement between two or more GSA Schedule contracts to work jointly to meet an agency requirement. CTA is commonly seen in the federal procurement market. Pursuant to a CTA, a group of contractors come together to provide a total solution to a government agency. It is referred to as a win-win situation.
In a CTA, two or more companies form a partnership or joint venture to act as potential prime contractor; or a potential prime contractor enters into an agreement with one or more other companies to have them act as its subcontractors under a specified government contract or acquisition program.
