Contractual Port of Loading Law and Legal Definition
Contractual Port of Loading is the port at which an ocean vessel does not call, but which is equalized with the actual port of call and upon which inland haulage services and inland tariffs are based. Generally, a contractual port of lading is the port mentioned on the bill of lading from which the cargo is accepted.
