Cool state of blood is a term associated with the law of homicide. It is the finding that the Criminal's emotions were not in such an excited state that they interfered with his/her faculties and reason.
In cases of homicide, it frequently becomes necessary to ascertain whether the act of the person killing was done in cool blood or not, in order to ascertain the degree of his/her guilt.
