Cork-Shooting Gallery Law and Legal Definition
Cork shooting gallery is a popular game in the U.S. Each player is supplied with a cork firing gatt gun. Usually, the aim is to knock down the duck or green bottle targets.
The following is an example of a state statute (Louisiana) on cork-shooting gallery :
According to La. R.S. 4:10.3 (20) in a Cork-shooting gallery theoperator must supply guns in good mechanical condition. No chipped or crooked corks may be used. Shelves where targets are placed are not to exceed four inches in width and no obstruction shall interfere with prize falling off the shelf. No targets shall be used which cork guns cannot shoot off shelf.”
