Cost Sharing Payment Law and Legal Definition
According to 16 USCS § 3801 (Title 16, Conservation; Chapter 60, Fish and Seafood Promotion), the term "cost sharing payment" means “a payment made by the Secretary to an owner or operator of a farm or ranch containing highly erodible cropland under the provisions of section 1234 (b) of this Act [16 USCS § 3834(b)].”
