Covered Security Law and Legal Definition
A covered security is defined as “a security traded nationally and listed on a regulated national exchange, at the time during which it is alleged that the misrepresentation, omission, or manipulative or deceptive conduct occurred.” Madden v. Cowen & Co., 576 F.3d 957 (9th Cir. Cal. 2009)
