Covered Service (Health Care) Law and Legal Definition
Covered service means those services, drugs, supply and equipment for which coverage benefits are available under the health care plans. Covered services beneficiaries are given benefits according to the terms and conditions of health plan. Covered service includes doctor visits, hospital stays, rehabilitation and therapeutic services, behavioral health and substance abuse services. Covered services include part-time nursing services also. Covered services provided at licensed primary care centers will be paid by medicaid.
