Crashworthiness Law and Legal Definition
According to 49 USCS § 32301 [Title 49. Transportation; Subtitle VI. Motor Vehicle and Driver Programs; Part C. Information, Standards, and Requirements; Chapter 323. Consumer Information], the term crashworthiness means "the protection a passenger motor vehicle gives its passengers against personal injury or death from a motor vehicle accident."
