Criminal Process Law and Legal Definition
Criminal process is a process such as an arrest warrant that is issued to compel a person to answer for a crime. It is issued in criminal action which is a procedure by which a person accused of committing a crime is charged, brought to trial and judged. Criminal action is usually instituted by the government to punish offenses against the public.
