Critical Infrastructure Sectors Law and Legal Definition
According to 6 USCS § 601, "critical infrastructure sectors" include agriculture and food, banking and finance, chemical industries, commercial facilities, commercial nuclear reactors, materials, and waste; dams, the defense industrial base, emergency services, energy, government facilities, information technology, national monuments and icons, postal and shipping, public health and health care, telecommunications, transportation systems and water sectors, in both urban and rural areas.
