Crop Rotation Law and Legal Definition
Crop rotation is the practice of alternating growing crops grown on a same field or land in a planned pattern or sequence so as to break weed/pest and disease cycles and improve soil fertility and control insects and diseases. The successive planting of different crops in the same location time after time will discourage the build up of diseases and pests that plague with a particular crop. Crop rotation helps to overcome the problem of mono cropping without the use of any chemicals. It also prevents excessive depletion of soil nutrients.
