Curia Law and Legal Definition
According to Roman law, curia means a legislative gathering of the Roman Senate. In Latin “curia” is used in a number of ways. In the early Middle Ages, the word “curia” was used to describe groups of men who were found in attendance on pope, emperor, king or prince, and the groups which were summoned to give counsel to these superiors.
