According to 12 CFR 9.2 [Title 12 -- Banks and Banking Chapter I -- Comptroller of the Currency, Department of the Treasury; Part 9 -- Fiduciary Activities of National Banks Regulations] custodian under Uniform Gifts to Minors Act means a fiduciary relationship established pursuant to a state law substantially similar to the Uniform Gifts to Minors Act or the Uniform Transfers to Minors Act as published by the American Law Institute.
