Customer Premises Equipment Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 47 USCS § 153 (14), [Title 47. Telegraphs, Telephones, and Radiotelegraphs; Chapter 5. Wire or Radio Communication; General Provisions] the term customer premises equipment means “equipment employed on the premises of a person (other than a carrier) to originate, route, or terminate telecommunications.”
