Customs Clearance Law and Legal Definition
Customs clearance refers to a procedure for clearance of goods to be exported. Customs clearance is done through Bill of Entry. Bill of Entry is the document on the strength of which imported goods are cleared from the customs. If the concerned officer is satisfied, that the goods are not prohibited goods and proper duty has been paid thereon, the officer grants customs clearance for the goods.
