Data Reference Model Law and Legal Definition
Data Reference Model (DRM) is also referred to as a "data and information reference model." This describes the data and information that support program and line operations. It also helps in describing the types of interactions that occur between the Federal Government and others. Purpose of a DRM is to establish a commonly understood classification for Federal data that will lead to the identification of duplicative data resources.
