According to 14 CFR 34.1 _Title 14 - Aeronautics And Space; Chapter I - Federal Aviation Administration, Department Of Transportation; Subchapter C – Aircraft; Part 34 - Fuel Venting And Exhaust Emission Requirements For Turbine Engine Powered Airplanes; Subpart A - General Provisions_, Date of manufacture of an engine is “the date the inspection acceptance records reflect that the engine is complete and meets the FAA approved type design.”
