Dation En Paiement Law and Legal Definition
Dation En Paiement means Giving in payment. It is an act by which a debtor gives a movable or immovable thing or property to the creditor, instead of paying a debt he owes in money. The creditor is generally willing to receive it, in payment of a sum which is due. It is similar to accord and satisfaction.
