Days in bank means the specific days assigned for the appearance of parties and service of process in particular matters in the Court of Common Pleas. The posting of days in bank will be at the distance of about a week from each other. Usually the days in bank are determined by some festival of the church. The term days in bank originated from the practice of the Court of Common Bank in England. It is also called as dies in banco, or bancum.
