De Bono Et Malo Law and Legal Definition
De bono et malo means for good and evil. It is an ancient writ which was issued in the case of each prisoner, instead of a general commission of general jail delivery for all the prisoners. These writs being found inconvenient and oppressive, a general commission for all the prisoners was long ago established in their stead.
