Debris Management Team Law and Legal Definition
Debris management team means a team that assists and coordinates the removal, collection, and disposal of debris or dust following a disaster. The debris management team is responsible for all debris management activities. The main aim of the debris management team is to lessen the potential threat to the health, safety, and welfare of the impacted citizens, to expedite recovery efforts in the impacted area, and address any threat of significant damage to improved public or private property. The debris removal process and armament of the debris management team varies depending on the team selection, need, and emergency.
