Declaration in Course of Duty Law and Legal Definition
Declaration in course of duty refers to a declaration made by a person while pursuing a duty to record or report his/her acts and has subsequently died. The declaration could be tendered to the court as an exception to the rule against hearsay evidence. However, it is nowadays less favored by courts.
