Decrepit Person Law and Legal Definition
A decrepit person is a person who is mentally or physically disabled. A person, who lacks firmness of character or strength of will, can also be called a decrepit person. Such persons lack physical strength or vitality. Contracts made by such persons can be set aside if there is an evidence of fraudulent action. Legal contracts made by decrepit persons have almost the same value as that made by insane persons during their lucid intervals of insanity. The validity of such contracts can be proved only by clear evidence.
