Demand in Reconvention Law and Legal Definition
Demand in Reconvention is a term used to signify the demand which the defendant institutes as a result of the action the plaintiff has brought against him/her. Demand in reconvention is made through a Cross action. A defendant may institute a demand in reconvention, if the demand is necessarily connected with the main action and incidental to the same.
