According to the Patent law, dependent claim is one which includes a previous claim limitations and also additional limitations not contained in independent claims or other claims. Dependent claims shall contain a reference to a claim previously set forth and then specify a further limitation of the subject matter claimed. Howmedica Osteonics Corp. v.
