Designated Supplier Law and Legal Definition
A designated supplier is a supplier assigned by the franchisor as the source for purchasing approved products and to maintain the standard of quality of products. It is the duty of a designated supplier to see that each franchisee is providing the same product to its customers. A designated supplier is equivalent to an approved supplier who supplies products and services to a franchisee.
