Developmental Program and Services [Education] Law and Legal Definition
According to 34 CFR 606.7 (b) [Title 34 – Education; Subtitle B -- Regulations of the Offices of the Department of Education; Chapter VI -- Office of Postsecondary Education, Department of Education; Part 606 -- Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions Program; Subpart A – General], the term developmental program and services means “new or improved programs and services, beyond those regularly budgeted, specifically designed to improve the self sufficiency of the school.”
