Diplomatic List Law and Legal Definition
Diplomatic list is a quarterly publication of the U.S. Department of State. It contains the names of all diplomats and their spouses, assigned by their respective country to work at that country's embassy in the U.S. The list also contains the diplomatic rank of all diplomatic representatives and the address of the embassy. All individuals listed, except those who are U.S. nationals, are entitled to full immunity under the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
