Directorate of Support [DS] Law and Legal Definition
The Directorate of Support (DS) is one of the four components of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) that provides everything that CIA needs to accomplish its critical mission of defending the nation. DS supports Directorate of Intelligence, the Directorate of Science & Technology, and the National Clandestine Service of the CIA. DS performs organizational and administrative functions to significant units such as the Office of Security, the Office of Communications; and the Office of Information Technology.
