Disaster Assistance Response Team Law and Legal Definition
Disaster Assistance Response Team means a team that provides response to international disasters. It provides the assistance of specialists who are trained in a variety of disaster relief skills, to U.S. embassies and USAID missions with the management of U.S. government response to disasters. It is usually deployed by the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance.
