Discharge Review Board Law and Legal Definition
According to 32 CFR 70.3 [Title 32 National Defense; Subtitle A Department of Defense; Chapter I Office of the Secretary of Defense; Subchapter D Personnel, Military and Civilian; Part 70 Discharge Review Board (DRB) Procedures and Standards], Discharge Review Board (DRB) is an administrative board constituted by the Secretary of the Military Department concerned and vested with discretionary authority to review discharges and dismissals. It may be configured as one main element or two or more elements as designated by the Secretary concerned.
