Disposing Mind and Memory Law and Legal Definition
Disposing mind and memory refer to the mental ability to understand in general what one owns, one's family relationships, and the meaning and effect of the will at the time of making a will. This is also known as sound mind and memory. Sound mind is the state of mind of a person which is sufficient to reason and reach a judgment upon ordinary subjects, like other rational men. A person who asserts that s/he is not of sound mind must prove it by clear evidence.
