Disseminate Law and Legal Definition
Disseminate means to spread information.
The following is an example of a case law referring to disseminate:
"Disseminate” may be said to be one of the many picturesque words of our language. Derived from the Latin semen, a seed, it is defined by Webster as "to sow broadcast or as seed," and, carrying the metaphor farther, "as principles and ideas are disseminated when they are spread abroad by propagation." The word creates the same picture as "broadcast," which Webster defines as "to disseminate widely," and whose present popular meaning is identified with radio, which disseminates information to the four corners of the earth.
