Document Bill Law and Legal Definition
Document bill is a bill of exchange drawn by a consignor on a consignee of the goods with negotiable bill of lading attached to the bill of exchange. Such a bill evidences collateral security, whereby the consignor is enabled to get immediate payment on account of the price of his goods.
