Domestic Industrial Base Law and Legal Definition
According to 50 USCS Appx § 2152 [Title 50. War and National Defense; Title 50 Appendix War and National Defense; Defense Production Act of 1950; Title VII. General Provisions], the term domestic industrial base means "domestic sources which are providing, or which would be reasonably expected to provide, materials or services to meet national defense requirements during peacetime, national emergency, or war."
