Domestically Owned Enterprise Law and Legal Definition
According to 7 CFR 773.2 [Title 7—Agriculture; Subtitle B -- Regulations of the Department of Agriculture; Chapter VII -- Farm Service Agency, Department of Agriculture; Subchapter D -- Special Programs; Part 773 -- Special Apple Loan Program], domestically owned enterprise is “an entity organized in the United States under the law of the state or states in which the entity operates and a majority of the entity is owned by members meeting the citizenship test.”
