Dual Traders Law and Legal Definition
Dual traders are floor brokers who trade for customers and for their own accounts. A floor broker is any person who, in or surrounding any pit, ring, post, or other place provided by a contract market for the meeting of persons similarly engaged, purchases or sells for any other person any commodity for future delivery on or subject to the rules of any contract market. [Reddy v. CFTC, 191 F.3d 109 (2d Cir. 1999)].
