Duplicate Registration Application [Federal Elections] Law and Legal Definition
According to 11 CFR 9428.2 (e) [Title 11 -- Federal Elections; Chapter II -- Election Assistance Commission; Part 9428 -- National Voter Registration Act (42 U.S.C. 1973gg-1 Et Seq.); Subpart A -- General Provisions], the term duplicate registration application means “an offer to register by a person already registered to vote at the same address, under the same name, and (where applicable) in the same political party.”
