Durante Minore Aetate Law and Legal Definition
Durante minore aetate means the granting of letters of administration to an infant. Here an administration with will annexed is acknowledged to another during the minority of such executor, and until s/he shall attain his/her lawful age to act. In Watson v. Warnock, 31 Ga. 694 (Ga. 1861), the court observed that “If an infant be next of kindred to the deceased intestate, and thus entitled to the administration, it will be granted to his guardian, durante minore aetate.”
