Dust Collector Law and Legal Definition
Dust collector is a system designed to handle heavy dust loads. It consists of a blower, a filter-cleaning system, dust filter and a dust receptacle. Inertial separators, fabric filters, wet scrubbers, electrostatic precipitators, unit collectors are different type of dust collectors used in industry. It is different from air cleaners that use disposable filters to remove dust. Dust collector serves as an effective method of controlling the dust. Permissible dust collectors are generally used for controlling the dust resulting from drilling in rock [30 USCS § 844].
