EDI Agreement Law and Legal Definition
EDI agreement is the abbreviation of Electronic Data Interchange agreement. It is an agreement that regulates through computer the transfer or exchange of data, such as purchase order between parties. Usually the electronic data transferred under an EDI agreement are arranged according to an agreed standard, such as the American National Standards Institute ANSI X12 standard or U.N. EDIFACT standard.
