Edictum Tralatitium Law and Legal Definition
Edictum tralatitium is that part of the judge’s edict that s/he had taken from his/her predecessors edict. Edictum tralatitium would retain either whole or a principal part of the predecessor’s edict. Edictum tralatitium would contain only such additions as that are necessary for its adaptation to the changing social conditions or juristic ideas.
