Education Loan Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 20 USCS § 1019 (3), [Title 20. Education; Chapter 28. Higher Education Resources and Student Assistance; General Provisions; Lender and Institution Requirements Relating to Education Loans] the term education loan (except when used as part of the term private education loan) means--
“(A) any loan made, insured, or guaranteed under part B of title IV [20 USCS §§ 1071 et seq.];
(B) any loan made under part D of title IV [20 USCS §§ 1087a et seq.]; or
(C) a private education loan.”
