Electromechanical Hydraulic Toilet Law and Legal Definition
According to 10 CFR 430.2 [Title 10 – Energy; Chapter II -- Department of Energy; Subchapter D -- Energy Conservation; Part 430 -- Energy Conservation Program for Consumer Products; Subpart A -- General Provisions], the term electromechanical hydraulic toilet means “any water closet that utilizes electrically operated devices, such as, but not limited to, air compressors, pumps, solenoids, motors, or macerators in place of or to aid gravity in evacuating waste from the toilet bowl.”
