Electronic Communications System Law and Legal Definition
Pursuant to 18 USCS § 2510 (14), [Title 18. Crimes and Criminal Procedure; Part I. Crimes; Chapter 119. Wire and Electronic Communications Interception and Interception of Oral Communications] the term electronic communications system means “any wire, radio, electromagnetic, photooptical or photoelectronic facilities for the transmission of wire or electronic communications, and any computer facilities or related electronic equipment for the electronic storage of such communications.”
