Electronic Fish Ticket [Wildlife and Fisheries] Law and Legal Definition
According to 50 CFR 660.11 [Title 50. Wildlife And Fisheries; Chapter VI. Fishery Conservation And Management, National Oceanic And Atmospheric Administration, Department Of Commerce; Part 660. Fisheries Off West Coast States; Subpart C. West Coast Groundfish Fisheries], ‘electronic fish ticket’ means “a software program or data files meeting data export specifications approved by National Marine Fisheries Service that is used to send landing data to the Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission. Electronic fish tickets are used to collect information similar to the information required in state fish receiving tickets or landing receipts, but do not replace or change any state requirements.”
